Here's One Thousand People Doing the Ice Bucket Challenge

Not sure if this can be topped, but supposedly, over a thousand people in Xiamen, China gathered to dump ice on their heads in the name of ALS research. This, wait for it, throws cold water on the previous record. According to Guinness World Records, 428 people simultaneously dumped ice water on their head on August 23 in St. Augustine, Florida. The event was for Florida’s chapter of the ALS Association, and until recently, it was the World Record. Likewise, this was for ALS research, and participants were required to donated 100 yuan or around $16 to take part, with these fees donated to ALS research.
